| Description: Skylark, formed in 2005, have built a reputation for playing driving, rhythmic and creative contra dance music. Their arrangements, improvisation and harmonies make this band unique in its field. Dave Brown (Fiddle), Elaine Meechan (Piano), Kathryn Dunphy (Flute) and Mark Brown (Bass) provide a fascinating blend of youth & experience. This is a multi-age and mixed-genre band which rivals none. Skylark is equally at home with modern contra dance music or the more traditional English dance.
