Artist: Anne Welch Email: Website: Description: Anne Welch danced & called in the south for more than 25 years before moving, 3 years ago, to Sheffield, where she is very happy to be part of the FISY [Folk in South Yorkshire] dance scene. She has called at Eastbourne & Sidmouth, as well as at various folk dance weeks & weekends, and is looking forward to her third visit to Chippenham. Although generally associated with English dance, she enjoys calling & dancing a wide range of styles and sees herself as a “general practitioner” of dance, rather than a specialist in one particular area. She firmly believes that dancing should be fun and enjoys her role as caller in trying to ensure that dancers have an enjoyable time.
