Artist: Weston Country Dance Band Email: Website: Description: Weston Country Dance Band from Weston super Mare combines John on accordion and Mary on keyboard, sometimes joined by Christina on fiddle. They are noted for their lively & original arrangements totally focused on making dancers dance, whether English or American style, seventeenth to twenty-first century. They have a unique collection of tunes to draw on, collected over the years, and including some written by Mary & Christina. Their music takes them as far afield as Kentucky & Colorado and many places nearer home, playing for dances, workshops and weekends. Weston CDB will be performing on Friday night only, so don’t miss them.
