Artist: Merry Conceit & Jim Coleman Email: Website: Description: This year Merry Conceit is again teaming up with Jim Coleman to form a three-piece band. Jim needs no introduction to dancers. He is well-known to many, having played on numerous prestigious occasions, including those at Cecil Sharp House and Darlington, and also for courses & balls all around the country. He is also a much sought-after musician for Scottish country dance. Merry Conceit is a husband & wife duo with Peter, also on violin, and Susan on piano keyboard. Their repertoire extends from traditional to Playford. They have played for many local events, as well as for foreign dancing holidays and at Halsway Manor. They run, and play for, the Westbury Leigh Playford Club.
