Artist: Dawnswyr Tipyn O Bopeth Email: bobtob@ic24.net Website: www.tipynobopeth.ic24.net/ Description: "Dawnswyr Tipyn o Bopeth" (translates to a "little bit of everything") was formed in 1988 by individual members of the different Welsh Groups who wished to take part in festivals over and above those attended by their local group. The early years were spent mainly attending and supporting the Inter-Celtic festivals in Cornwall, Ireland, the Isle of Man and Brittany. However, since the mid-nineties, apart from continued support of the Celtic festivals and those local to Wales and the UK, the group has taken part in several festivals in the Transylvanian Region of Romania; Belgium, Sweden, Finland, Norway, France, the Czech Republic, and Galicia - this year we have been invited to Valencia in Spain. The group also hosts foreign groups and for the past two years. the organiser of the group has held a small International Folk Dance Festival at the National Botanic Garden of Wales, with members of "Dawnswyr Tipyn o Bopeth" helping host the foreign dancers and musicians for a long weekend. The aim of the group is to promote Traditional Welsh Folk Dance and Music, the traditonal costume of Wales and Welsh culture and to form strong friendships with different nations.
