Welcome to the song section - and what a line up we have for you this year.
Top of the billing at the Festival this year is the amazing SOLAS !We were lucky to catch them on a short tour and they will be flying down from the Orkneys specially to perform at the final Concert.
Other top liners this year include Kerr Fagan Harbron, Tanglefoot, GraceNotes, Jeff Warner, Mawkin Casuely, Cloudstreet, Rubus and Craig Morgan Robson.
There are some fantastic concerts lined up in the newly refurbished Studio Hall at the Olympiad, a great programme as ever in the wonderful Cause Music & Arts Centre and of course , all the other events. Dont miss the ever crazy cabaret evening on saturday at the Constitutional Hall - last years event still has people talking about it. Fabulous stuff.

Amongst the special shows this year are a new offering from Mick Ryan with "The Navvie's Wife" and Brian Peters is presenting his show on Child Ballads called "Songs of Trial & Triumph". Go to the Specials section to get more details on those and more.
There are also all the various workshops on offer, particularly the SongShop series based on the most widely used instrument of all, the voice.
