After Dinner Clog
The team 'After Dinner Clog' formed to show how lyrical and joyful traditional English step clog can be. Although the team only began a few years ago they have quickly achieved a varied and entertaining repertoire of dances, set to entertain audiences across the country in 2018. The team was founded by the competition winning Vikki Lewis, whose experience blends highly technical forms of Lancashire clog with her more expressive and passionate background of Latin Ballroom and Latin dancing. Claire Wright and Alley York complete the trio and together they form a wonderful unit who have great step synchronisation and cheeky audience interaction. Between them, they boast experience in Rapper, Appalachian and Clog and have taught many workshops. The team thrives on freedom of expression and this is best shown through music choices which often shy away from more traditional tunes to allow for a playful vibe rarely found in British clog dancing. Musical talent is provided by Manny Grimsley (Fiddle) and Will Allen (Fiddle/Melodeon). ADC are a small close knit group of friends and derive their name from eating together after weekly practice, they look forward to showing their dancing and spirit at festivals this year.
