England's Glory Ladies' Morris
England's Glory Ladies Morris is from Cheltenham and was formed in 1973 and were one of the three original ladies morris sides. The name comes from the England's Glory matches formerly manufactured in Gloucester. The main dances come from Ilmington and were taught to the women and children of the village by Sam Bennett at the beginning of the twentieth century. Our repertoire has been extended by including dances from the border and Northwest traditions as well as dances devised by members of the side.
