Sponsors & supporters

We are grateful to have the generous support from the following funding agencies, grant bodies and sponsors.
Chippenham Borough Lands, an enlightened and active supporter of the Arts in Chippenham have once again confirmed their long standing commitment to, and ongoing financial support for the Folk Festival. Chippenham Borough Lands
Chippenham Town Council Chippenham Town Council has supported the Festival with a grant towards festival costs including school's day.
Thanks to The Rise Childrens Centre Group Chippenham for the Loan Soft Play area in the Family Castle area of the festival. The Rise Trust
The Association of Festival Organisers The Association of Festival Organisers (AFO). The festival has been a member of this organisation which supports folk music and arts activities throughout the country and beyond. It is one of the leading folk arts organisation in the UK.
Covid-19 Emergency Response Fund from Arts Council England and The National Lottery.
We are all volunteers and unpaid, working throughout the year to put together the folk festival, and as such, we were saddened to have to postpone the festival this year. However, people's safety was our main priority and this was the only option we saw fit. Although, we did want to celebrate the festival weekend, so we managed to do a virtual festival (still viewable on the festival website) with the help of our artists who are rebooked for next year.
This left the festival with two year's running costs to cover from only one festival year's income, so having this emergency grant from the Arts Council will help towards these costs and we are very grateful that the Arts Council has awarded these funds, so we can put a 2021 festival on.

Chippenham Folk Festival COVID-19 Fighting Fund

Since the Chippenham Folk Festival 2020 festival was postponed until 2021, then 2021 normal festival being cancelled, the festival now has three years worth of running costs to cover from one year's festival income.

We are a Community Interest Company, run entirely by volunteers on a not-for-profit basis, so please help us cover these costs and avoid potential cuts to infrastructure and content, with donations to the festival, showing your support through these hard times, and keeping this festival going for present and future generations to enjoy.
