Steward Application Notes

It's time once again to make our annual request for volunteer staff at the Chippenham Folk Festival. As you have assisted in previous years, or expressed an interest in helping, we are pleased to invite you to apply to help this year. This year's festival dates are Friday 25th to Monday 28th May 2018

Every effort will be made to accommodate your preferences, but we regret we cannot make any guarantees. Some flexibility may be needed during the weekend with the working schedule.

You are required to work a minimum of 12 hours over the Festival. You will be issued one Festival Pass and if required one camping permit. We can be flexible and change some duties but please do not swap duties without agreeing it with us - it can cause all sorts of complications. As one of our team you are expected to do a professional job both in the name of Chippenham Folk Festival and the wider folk scene.

We recognise our volunteers are real friends of the Festival, often helping out for many years. Please help us by spreading the word. If you have friends who would like to volunteer, please ask them to write to the address below or send an e-mail to stewarding@chippfolk.co.uk quoting your name as a reference. We like referrals from known good friends.

If you are not in a hurry to get home, it would be very helpful if you could spare a couple of hours on Tuesday morning. This task is usually done by the same small group each year so a few new faces would be most welcome.

Chief Steward
Chippenham Folk Festival CIC.
