The Albion Band

An Albion Christmas is widely regarded as the premier seasonal show, which has been touring for 20 years, and attracts sell-out audiences across the UK. Indeed, many people say that their Christmas doesn’t start until they have seen The Albion Christmas Show.

Featuring the combined talents of Simon Nicol (Fairport Convention), Kellie While (Albion Band) Simon Care (Edward II) and the Guvnor himself, Ashley Hutchings, this show takes you on a guided tour through the Christmas customs of Britain.

Kellie While, Simon Care and Simon Nicol join founder of Fairport Convention, Steeleye Span and The Albion Band, Ashley Hutchings on stage, for an evening of traditional English Christmas music, dancing and celebration.

Kellie takes time out from working with her mum, Chris While, for which both the U.K. press and public alike have praised her. Folk enthusiasts will know Kellie from her work with The Albion Band.. She received personal praise from Ron Sexsmith for her beautiful version of his song ‘Riverbed’ on her album Tenacious, which put her on the map as a soloist.

Simon Care is currently working with Edward II and has always had a passion for Traditional English dance and song. Simon also works with Whapweasel, Tickled Pink and the Morris On Band.

Simon Nicol, founder member of Fairport finishes the line up to make this a truly festive treat. He is regarded as one of the finest acoustic guitarists in the world………His voice is pretty special too!

Keith Donnelly Family Show

Keith D Chistmas special

Keith Donnelly,  Well where do you start?  Keith's website describes him as a ' Ruthless Surrealist Guitar-Slinging Abstract Songer Sing-Weaving, Teller of Short Tall Tales and Long Short Stories’. That’s a lot to cram into one show but somehow Keith manages it!

Whether he is performing for an adult audience or children, you know Keith's show is  going to be a laugh a minute.

Keith may be known for his stand up comedy and participative action songs but Keith is also a serious singer-songwriter and accomplished guitarist. Keith performs both solo gigs and alongside others including French vocalist Flossie Malavialle as ‘Folk Superduo’ - Dark Horses; and the wonderful singer and storyteller Ursula Holden Gill. Keith also works in tandem with the inimitable Les Barker, who Keith describes as ‘The funniest poet in the history of funny poetry’, as ‘Idiot & Friend’.

As well as writing all his own material, Keith enjoys writing for other people. Over the years he has had the opportunity of writing for and working with some of his own favourite funny people. Perhaps the most notable of these is the ever hilarious Jasper Carrott.

As if this doesn't sound like enough to keep him busy Keith has his own children's book ' I wish I was a monkey'. He also launched his first seasonal Christmas Album during lockdown.
