Inclusivity Statement

Chippenham Folk Festival has a policy of being strictly apolitical, and does not discriminate in terms of race, disability, religion, gender or age. The Festival also believes in free speech and allows people to express their opinions. However, the Festival Organisers will not allow persons or organisations, whether working, supporting or performing, to use the festival event as a platform to overtly promote any particular viewpoints or opinions which appear, in their opinion, to be political, discriminatory, or offensive.

Chippenham Folk Festival is an inclusive weekend, and thus we would like to remind everyone that their attire and behaviour must not cause offence to others, or bring the festival into disrepute. Please be considerate of others when attending and performing at the festival, so that everyone, including yourselves, have an enjoyable experience.

The Festival Organisers reserve the right to ask individuals or groups that contravene festival policy to desist from any such activity and/or to leave the festival.

ChippFolk Raffles terms and conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all Chippenham Folk Festival raffles. Please read and understand the terms and conditions of our raffle.

Chippenham Folk festival CIC operate all lotteries and raffles under the Code of Fundraising Practice and in accordance with the Fundraising Regulator Guidelines.

All tickets must be paid for before being included in the raffle draw.

Participation in ChippFolk Grand Raffle costs £2 per raffle ticket. All profits from these raffles will be donated to the Chippenham Folk Festival CIC, a registered CIC (No.9499889). Payment for participation in any of the raffles can be made by cheque, debit card, or cash. CAF or other charity vouchers cannot be accepted as payment for raffle tickets. Your raffle tickets will be entered into the draw as soon as full payment is received.

The promoter accepts no responsibility if the chosen method of payment is cancelled in error.

Closing dates for the receipt of raffle tickets and raffle ticket payment is set out on the individual raffle pages. Tickets received after the closing date may not be entered in the draw but the payment will be treated as a donation unless expressly stated otherwise by the sender.

The raffle draws will take place on the dates set out on the individual raffle pages. The prizes are non transferable and no alternatives will be provided. The result of the Raffle draw is final. Winners will be notified in writing, within 10 working days of the draw to the contacts supplied by registered buyers of the winning raffle ticket.

A list of winners will appear on the Chippenham Folk Festival website ( from one week after each draw unless specifically requested not to do so. All Chippenham Folk Festival Raffles are open to all mainland Great Britain residents over the age of 16. (Excludes Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands).

The tickets may not be sold to, or by a person under 16 years of age or purchased by Chippenham Folk Festival staff. If a ticket is sold unknowingly to a person under the age of 16 they will be exempt from the raffle and will forfeit their prize.
