Welcome to the Chippenham Folk Festival 2017

Fri 26th until Mon 29th May 2017

On these pages you should be able to find whatever you need to know about one of the country's finest examples of a traditional folk festival.
This is the our 46th Festival and we still maintain it's original core objective "... to be primarily a participatory festival promoting and presenting some of the best in English Folk Song, Music and Dance ...". It does this by presenting over 200 individual events and workshops, all in one weekend on the Spring Bank Holiday.
