Playford’s Dancing Master hit the streets in 1651, and 372 years later people are still writing new dances. This workshop explores the most recent 75 years (ish) of our living tradition of English social folk dance. We’ll give ourselves some challenges, so you’ll enjoy yourself most if you’re familiar with a broad range of dance figures and feel confident about your ability to recover from mistakes. (P).

Dave Yeomans, Matt Norman & Marni Rachmiel
Matt Norman (violin & mandolin) & Dave Yeomans (accordion) are making a return visit to Chippenham, joined by Marni Rachmiel (flute/saxophone)!
