Ed Deedigan & The Kandu Collective

Ed Deedigan as well as being the founder and Director of Kandu Arts for Sustainable Development was the former lead singer of the band The Shanakies, who were signed to an independent label in Paris. He toured with the band extensively, including supporting Blur in Park life and Great Escape tours and had the pleasure of playing with Dodgy at Mile End stadium in 1995. Ed has written a variety of songs for various artists including Melanie C and is currently working in other media outlets since producing a BAFTA notminated film. Ed will be performing songs with The Kandu Collective which is an evolving group of various musicians who play a wide variety of genres including: Guillem Mitchel is a Catalan singer-songwriter originally from Barcelona and currently based in the South West of England. In his songs, vocals and guitar blend in a beautiful musical dialogue influenced by pop, folk and classical music. His intimate style is a mixture of delicacy, passion and musical craft. Jonah Jones from Chippenham town playing original songs from the heart. Covering an array of emotions and themes from desperate to pitiful. Music centered on straight talking honest lyrics carried on mournful melodies. Think Daniel Johnston, Roy Orbison and Bright Eyes. Konsuela Yovbak from Ukraine is a qualified piano teacher who moved recently to the Uk with her husband and daughter. She wonderfully plays a wide variety of songs and enjoys performing at live events.
