Penny Kempson, Will Sartin and Lewis Jones are deeply rooted in the folk tradition and have performed in bands and sessions across the UK and beyond. United by a shared love of traditional music, they draw on English, Irish and Scandinavian influences, weaving together lively tunes and heartfelt songs—both traditional and original. Their music is grounded in years of playing, listening and living within the folk scene, but what really defines them is the joy they bring to it. Whether it’s a driving set of dance tunes or a quieter, story-filled song, their aim is simple: to share the music they love and create the same sense of connection they’ve found in it. Together, they’re excited to be making music as a trio—bringing energy, warmth and a genuine love of folk to every performance.
