Bristol Youth Folk

Bristol Youth Folk (BYF) was set up in May 2025 by Andy Phillips and Georgie Helps. It's a brand new group for kids in the Bristol area, aged 8-16, who are interested in learning about all types of folk - from Cotswold to Molly, Rapper to Border. By summer 2026, the aim of the group is to form a youth side, performing our own dances at local events and folk festivals. We'd love to offer workshops at festivals too (not just folk!) to introduce other budding young performers to folk dancing.
